Television and film star Judy Landers gamered more acting credits in
her young career than most actresses secure in a lifetime.
One of the most likable and recognizable actresses, Judy is respected
and admired both on and off screen for her sweet demeanor and her professionalism.
From her own series (with Greg Evigan), "B.J. and the Bear",
to "Vegas", (with Robert Urich), to "Madames Place",
to guest starring roles on "The Love Boat", "LA Law",
and countless others, Judy always proves to be the consummate professional
that is a pleasure to work with.
Judy's theatrical motion pictures include "Armed and Dangerous",
with John Candy, Paramount's, "Dr. Alien", and "Ghostwriter",
with sister Audrey Landers, and "Club
Fed" with Sherman Hemsley.
The glitter and glamour of Hollywood is not the only incentive that
keeps Judy going strong. Her marriage to baseball great Tom Niedenfuer
and two daughters, Lindsey and Kristy, keep Judy focused and balanced
through the hustle and bustle of show business.
Relocating from Beverly Hills California, to Sarasota FL., Judy has found
a sense of maturity in regard to her life style. She participates in the
concerns for a better environment and the rights of animals.
Judy is very close to her sister Audrey
Landers, (Dallas, A Chorus Line), and their mother / manager Ruth.
The Landers team is a tight knit organization that is currently developing
television and independent film productions.
Judy Landers began her acting career while still in high school. She studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then progressed to the Warren Robertson Dramatic Traing School and the Julliard School of Music in N.Y.C. She is also an accomplished songwriter.
Judy's strong devotion to helping and teaching children led her to develop "The Huggabug Club", an award - winning television series for children, which aired on PBS for 5 years. The Landers "Team" wrote, produced and starred in the series, which they created as a labor of love for all children.
